The Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board (MMBB) is committed to maintaining the privacy of any information that you provide when using www.mmbb.org. This privacy policy describes how we treat information received when you visit www.mmbb.org.
We may make content or services from other Web sites available to you from links located on www.mmbb.org. Examples include links to IRS.gov and www.mmbbaccounts.org. These other Web sites are not subject to this privacy policy. We recommend that you review the privacy policy for each Web site you visit to determine how that site protects your privacy. Personally Identifiable Information Collected
If you requeste infromation from www.mmbb.org through our online forms, we store the personally identifiable information you provide (such as name, email, etc...) to assist us in fulilling your request. Any information, which you provide this way, is not made available to any third parties, and is used by MMBB only in line with the purpose for which you provided it.
Web Site Usage Information
We automatically collect IP addresses and Web site usage information from you when you visit our Web site. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our Web sites on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency of visitors to each Web page, and the length of the visits.
Benefits Section
In the Benefits section, we ask you to identify which employer group you are affiliated with (such as American Baptist Churches). We only store and use the information about your group temporarily—while you are on www.mmbb.org. In other words, if you leave www.mmbb.org and later return, you will need to select your employer group again because the site will not have stored this information. And, because we do not collect personally identifiable information, we do not know who you are to check the employer group you select.
Calculators and Modeling Tools
While you are using www.mmbb.org, you may have the opportunity to enter information into calculators or modeling tools. The use of these tools is completely voluntary. This gives you the chance to enter different information and see how this affects your results. We only store and use the information you enter temporarily while you are using these tools. If you leave www.mmbb.org and later return, any information you entered into the tool will be gone because the site will not have stored this information. And, because we do not collect personally identifiable information, we do not know who you are. This gives you complete freedom to use the calculators and tools as you wish.
Email Information
We give you the opportunity to contact us for more information or for answers to your questions. One way you may contact us is by email from the site.
We are also exploring list serve capabilities. This would allow you to subscribe to an email newsletter from us, such as to receive updated investment information. The subscription would be completely voluntary, and you would have the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time.
If you provide us with your email address, we will not provide it to any other party, including our vendor partners, for advertising or for any other purpose.
Cookies
We use cookie technology to help visitors move faster through our site. When you sign on to our Web site or take advantage of certain features, we may pass cookies to your computer. A cookie is a string of information that is sent by a Web site and stored on your hard drive or temporarily in your computer's memory. We use that information only within the MMBB Web site and do not provide the information to any outside organization.
Security
Information you enter, such as while requesting information or using a calculator or modeling tool, is stored on limited access servers. We maintain safeguards to protect the security of those servers and your information.
Survey Responses Only Collected in Total
We may conduct occasional online surveys. For example, when you're within our Web site, you may see a pop-up window offering you the opportunity to participate in a survey. These surveys are entirely voluntary and you may easily decline to participate. Any information you provide in survey responses will be joined with all other responses and used collectively. It will not be stored, reported or used as an individual response. And because we do not collect personally identifiable information from you, your responses are not linked to you. It will not be stored, reported or used as an individual response. Policy Changes
We may change this privacy policy periodically to reflect new features added to www.mmbb.org. We will keep this policy updated, so be sure to check back from time to time.
