Neal J. Berkowitz has been active in the financial services industry since 1990. He has broad expertise in unregistered and UCITS as well as other types of investment funds. In addition, he has experience in the preparation of business plans, risk management process documents and other policies and procedures for investment funds. Furthermore, he has also been responsible for the audit of financial statements for investment firms and management companies.
Prior to joining MMBB, Neal was CFO at Abel Noser and before that he worked for 28 years as Senior Vice President and CFO at Christian Brothers Investment Services (CBIS), a global asset management firm. CBIS works in partnership with Catholic institutions to develop Catholic responsible investing solutions to meet current and future investment needs. At CBIS he was responsible for the establishment and management of various kinds of investment funds. He served as director of CBIS Global Funds and a member of CBIS’ management team. Before that, Neal worked at Ernst & Young.
Neal holds an MBA from Pace University, is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Neal is also a board member and Treasurer of Westchester Disabled On the Move.
