The Rev. Charles Watson, Jr. comes to MMBB after a career that led him to leadership roles as the Director of Education for the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty (BJC), a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force and a consultant for DeWolff, Boberg & Associates, Inc. He has also served as a chaplain endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF).
Charles currently serves on the board of trustees at Mercer University, on the governing board of CBF and as a board member at Together For Hope. He is also the co-founder of the Ball-Watson Community Engagement Foundation.
Charles is a graduate of The Citadel and earned his Master of Divinity degree from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology.
Charles is an MMBB Retirement Benefits Consultant for the southeastern region.
