As we say good-bye to 2022 and usher in 2023, many of us take stock of what we’ve accomplished thus far. At MMBB, we believe it is never too early or too late to plan for your financial future. Therefore, we strive to provide you with information to help you meet your financial goals and set new ones. In this final issue of Tomorrow for 2022, we’ve included articles on various topics that will increase your financial literacy and provide insight into ways to save your hard-earned money.
First, we introduce you to MMBB’s new Chief Investment Officer, Hyde Hsu, who discusses her financial background and MMBB’s long- and short-term investment strategy in “Meet the CIO.” In “Financial Literacy: Test Yourself,” we invite you to take our financial literacy quiz to test your knowledge of some retirement planning basics.
During these turbulent financial times, saving money is on everyone’s mind. End-of-year is often when people try to take advantage of tax planning before January 1. “Year-End Tax-Saving Strategies” provides guidance on tax planning methods that may surprise you. Historic low mortgage rates from earlier in the pandemic may be gone, but you can still pay down your mortgage early. Our article “Want to Pay Off Your Mortgage Early: Strategies for Making It Happen” offers five tips for becoming a debt-free homeowner.
Finally, this issue wraps up our three-part series, “Managing Multiple Financial Priorities, Part 3.” The final installment focuses on managing debt, so you have more freedom to achieve your financial goals.
In closing, I leave you with this scripture: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6, NIV) On behalf of the entire MMBB family, I wish you a blessed Christmas filled with joy and peace.
Thank you for placing your trust in MMBB and allowing us to serve you in 2022. We at MMBB pray for God’s strength and guidance for you, your families and for those you serve in 2023. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you in the new year.
Regards,
Louis
