The end of June marks the beginning of summer and warm weather holidays and vacations. It’s a time when many of us kick back for a bit to rest and rejuvenate, but the economy never takes a break.
In that vein, this issue of Tomorrow offers part 2 of our article, “What You Need to Know about Managing Your Finances in Your 40s.” In “Creative Ways to Save More Money – Part 1,” we provide tips for growing your savings when the country is still feeling the sting of inflation.
With summer travel on people’s minds, “Be Your Own Security Guard” sheds light on how to protect your home when you’re away. As many engage in outdoor summer activities, accidents are bound to happen. “Disability insurance – the forgotten safety net” is a reminder of the steps you can take to be prepared when accidents occur.
Finally, many people think their credit and FICO scores are the same entity, but they aren’t. In “Financial Fact: What Is the Difference Between Your Credit and FICO Scores,” we explain these two important metrics.
As we make room amidst our financial planning to unwind, I leave you with the following scripture: “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”– Mark 6:31 (NIV). In this passage, Jesus invites his disciples to take a break from their busy lives and find solace in a quiet and deserted place. The verse reminds us to prioritize self-care, especially in the middle of the demands and pressures of life. Find moments to rest and enjoy alone time. This respite can strengthen and restore you spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Enjoy your summer and some well-deserved relaxation.
Sincerely,
