This February, I hope you are looking forward to the opportunities 2024 will bring. In this issue of Tomorrow, we look at some financial topics that may be on people’s minds at this time of year.
As some people may have made purchasing a home a New Year’s resolution, we close our three-part series on homebuying with “Sealing the Deal: How to Close on a Home.” In the article, “Pastoral Mental Health: Not Too Blessed to Be Stressed,” we examine how the current mental health crisis in America affects ministers.
Artificial intelligence is the current buzzword, and we kick off our first newsletter issue of 2024 with an overview of this new technology in “AI Basics.” The new year is a perfect time to review and rethink our financial goals and reinvest in ourselves. With that in mind, MMBB is expanding our reach in 2024 with our first financial conference. Learn more about this transformational event in “Take Charge of Your Finances at MMBB’s Re-think Re-invest Financial Conference.”
Finally, the debt ceiling becomes a trending topic in the news every year or two during budget negotiations on Capitol Hill. Find out the fundamentals of the debt ceiling in “The Debt Ceiling: What Is It and What It Means to You.”
In closing, I share this scripture with you. “But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.” – Psalm 33:11 (NIV). This psalm celebrates God's creative energy, sovereignty, and steadfastness. We may feel frustrated when our plans don’t come to fruition, but we can trust God’s plan, timing and counsel. No matter what we face in 2024, remember that the Creator’s purpose is to always be with us and ready to guide us.
We are grateful that you have trusted us to help you with your financial plans in 2023, and we look forward to assisting you as you pursue your 2024 financial goals.
Yours in Christ,
Louis
